Anyways, the whole trip consists of many many places of interest in Taipei. And just the city. The temperature is a killer, everytime the wind blows, i feel its slapping my face so hard that i cant breathe! goodness!
Whatever, thank god its over. When i reach the airport in Taiwan, i was practically sweating and when everyone is thinking its cold, im thanking god it was "cooling" for me. We boarded the tour bus and started our journey.
Our tour guide is xiao cong. Very cute person, short and cuddly just like a teddy bear. She is a lady... right. but she is a man lady.(if you get what i mean) Anyways, the first station we went right after we got out from the airport is Shihlin night market.
We ate alot of junk food there and had lots and lots of fun running around and ating, then after about an hour and half, we proceeded to the next destination Hsi menting.Another shopping area and we just walked around.. nothing much to see at that kind of hour. And after for about an hour or so, we proceeded back to the hotel.
We stayed at cosmos hotel, not as nice as the motel we stayed previously but ok... its a hotel what do you expect right? haha quite cosy, not that bad.
The next day morning, we went to theresa tang's cemetary in a mountain. it was cold but the whole place is beautiful. When you first reach the cemetary, the sensor would immediately click on and her songs would be played throughout the whole trip. When i got down the bus, and walked over... there she is, lying on the ground.... (ok that sounds funny) peaceful and the place is just beautiful. (if she could see it from the heavens, she would have loved it as well) Lots of flowers were placed on the ground around her tomb and there were 2 of her pictures showing her always beautiful and young. Well, we took many pictures around there as a memory. After that we then proceeded to the next stop at Keelung. We then went to another mountain where rain conquers it all. Why do i say that? Because, in a year 365 days, that place called jiu fen actually would be raining for at least 200 days! 200 out of 365!!! can you believe it? People there should be depressed! But, nope, they werent depressed. Taiwanese are people with passion.. always smiling and talking very nicely to others.
We ate some local snacks and walk about in the rain. It was rather fun. Then we proceeded to dinner at this horrible horrible horrible restaurant . Mongolian bbq buffet restaurant. Service and food sucks!!!!! The only edible thing in there was the bbq meat as well as the potato salad. not forgetting the cherry tomatoes haha. Anyway, there was a war between Sporeans and the taiwanese there. ok like the bove i mentioned taiwanese are nice ppl but this restaurant, the witch look-a-like supervisor , my god! you would gladly wanna volunteer to bitchslap her and put her face in the toilet bowl and flush her head. She is that nonsense. And her attitude.... tsk tsk tsk.. sucks to the very core of the planet earth!!! Thus what do sporeans do? argued and COMPLAINED. HAHAHAHAH yep, we complained to the tourguide and made them call the tour company. The sporeans won the war! The manager of the restaurant came to us the very next day, bowed and apologized to each and everyone of us. I felt so bad for him because it wasnt his fault! It should be the ridiculous supervisor. (biatch...)
Then next day, our trip was more of cultural interest. We went to the place where there were many soldiers watching over and they weren't supposed to move. i dont know what its called but i think its a place where war soldiers rest and being respected in that place. Something like a memorial hall. We watched the performance of the soldiers (like the ones standing outside the Istana) changed shifts. It was really nice. And we were not supposed to touch them or we would have to be jailed for that. And their punishment is much more worse than anybody if they were distracted. Saw a couple of handsome soldiers so me, teresa and tracy immediately asked for our photograghs to be taken with them! Then we saw this other guy who was supposed to be protecting the soldiers against the tourist, he was drop dead gorgeous. Haha we got hao to go forward and ask if we could take a picture with him and reluctantly he agreed hahahahaha!!!!!!!!
after that we went to the national museum of Taiwan and saw many many awesome things!! These are actually national treasures when last time china had war and Chiang Jhek Shi actually brought all these treasures to taiwan to hide them here or it would have fallen into the enemy hands. Guess i was the only one that was truly fascinated by so many things inside there. (haha shy)
then we proceeded next stop. Spa.... hahah traditional japanese spa..... but i didnt fully utilise it even though it could be a chance a year because........ my lower body was bleeding!!!!! wrong timing!!! argh!!!! but i get to soak my feet in there haha (to make myself feel better) so i can still tell friends in spore that i have been to the spa. haha next stop was a street filled with smelly beancurd... god i could almost get killed for that. the smell was ecstacy!!!! i nearly pulled my nose off. And hao forced me to eat it. In return, he got me a soft toy haha a cow... with wings! named moo moo. i named it. Ha ha ! then we went too Taipei 101. the tallest building. The things inside are meant for frich people to buy.... not us. LV cost 300 more than usual compared to spore! can you believe it!!!!!! no wonder all the japanese come to spore to get the stuffs....
sigh... so little days so many places... but i got a couple of new clothes for manson and myself also a coupple of gifts for friends.... cool i love taiwan... i would go again haha.
but i pray next trip, JAPAN!!!!! HERE I COME!!!!!!!
